Plant Description:

Epipremnum aureum is best grown in tropical climate. This plant is commonly known by many names such as Golden Pothos, Hunter's Robe, Devil's Ivy, Ivy Arum, Solomon Islands Ivy, Taro Vine. However, in India it is popular known as Money Plant.


The Money Plant is an ornamental plant. It is used as a decorative in window grills, walls, garden gates, etc. This plant is widely found in India. Be it in gardens, households, building entrance, the Money Plant is always seen. Being in India, this one plant you should know by the tip of your fingers.


Money Plant is one of the easiest indoor plants to grow. Hence, if you are new to gardening, the Money Plant is one plant you should start with. The reason being is that it survives even with least amount of sunlight and watering. Further, even if you over-water a Money Plant, still it will survive. One of the best way to grow a money plant is by cutting a stem of an existing money plant and planting it in an empty pot. Within few days, roots will start to form. It is advisable to regularly water a money plant.
